Decorah native joins the staff of a local insurance agency

A Decorah native who is a Decorah High School and NICC graduate has joined the staff of the A&J Petersburg Agency of Decorah.

Since graduating from NICC, Darrek Elwood has worked as an EMT and most recently as a City of Davenport police officer.   Darrek married fellow Decorah native Rachel Burras in August and the two have returned to the community. 

Darrek is now a licensed Commercial & Personal Lines Agent at A & J Petersburg Agency.  He will be focusing on insuring local businesses throughout Northeast Iowa.
