


The Decorah Police Department reports responding to a car vs. deer collision Thursday night.
18-year-old Angel Flack of Waukon was westbound on Hwy 9 near Sunflower when a female deer ran into the path of her car, was struck, and landed on the windhield before rolling off. 17-year-old Aleah Howes of Waukon was a passenger and was transported to Winneshiek Medical Center for evaluation. The collision totaled Falck's 2005 Ford Focus.
