City Administrator Chad Bird injured in Missouri traffic accident

Decorah City Administrator Chad Bird was injured in an accident in Martinsburg, Missouri Thursday evening.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Bird lost control of his motorcycle as he approached a stop sign on Missouri Highway 19 at Walnut Street in Martinsburg.  He was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
