


The Iowa Department of Public Health has completed its review of Winneshiek County Emergency Medical Services and has given a "no deficiencies" rating.
Agencies and services included in the inspection were Winneshiek Medical Center Ambulance, Frankville and Ossian Ambulance, First Responder services in Castalia, Calmar, Fort Atkinson, Ridgeway, Burr Oak, Highlandville and Decorah; and Gundersen Air.
The State reviewed equipment, policies, procedures, protocols, personnel files and contingency plans for each service. The on-site inspection occurs every three years.
