May 1st referendum still fails--this time by five votes

Winneshiek County supervisors on Monday reviewed the results of last Tuesday's City of Decorah referendum on a proposed municipal electric utility.

The canvass did not change the result of Tuesday's election, which was a very narrow victory by "no" voters.  Here are the updated totals:

"Yes"--1,380
"No"--1,385
