People Magazine profiles Chris Norton's walk down the wedding aisle

Photos from Saturday's wedding of former Luther College football player Chris Norton and his fiancee Emily Summers have now been posted on People Magazine.

It has been seven years since Norton was paralyzed from the neck down during a football game at Carlson Stadium.  But on Saturday, he took a 7-yard walk down the aisle.  "The accident brought me to her," Norton toldPEOPLE in this week's issue, "and that is the biggest blessing."

The walk down the aisle at their wedding mirrored a previous walk at Luther College.  Norton and Summers walked across the Luther College commencement stage together as 3,000 people cheered them on. That video was seen by more than 300 million people around the world.
"The walk wouldn't have been possible without Emily, literally and figuratively," he tells People Magazine.
