Winneshiek Medical Center is reporting an operating loss of $189,981 for February.
WMC officials say there was a net loss of $133,074 for February after applying non-operating revenues of $56,907.
Year-to-date after 8 months of the fiscal year, Winneshiek Medical Center's net revenues of $40.0 million are favorable to budget and have increased 2.3 percent over last year at this time. However, higher costs--especially of pharmaceuticals--remain a concern. Operating expenses year-to-date are $41.3 million.
