Ask Mr. Answer Person: "What's new with the proposed Menard's store in Decorah?"

(Several people have recently asked Mr. Answer Person if there is anything new involving Menard's plans to build a store in Decorah):

Mr. Answer Person says: "No.

Wait--you want more information?  OK, the Iowa DNR says it provided Menard's with a base flood elevation of the Freeport property in November and answered additional flood plain questions in December.  Since then Menard's has not been in contact with the DNR."
