2018-19 calendar set for Decorah Schools

The Decorah Community School Board approved the calendar for the 2018-19 school year at their Monday night meeting.

Highlights include:

• Classes will begin on the earliest allowed start date: Thursday, August 23rd
• Winter Break will be from Saturday, December 22nd through Tuesday, January 2nd
• 2nd semester will feature two 4-day weekends: February 15th through 18th, and April 19th through 22nd
• Last day for seniors will be May 21st
• Commencement will be held Sunday, May 26th
• Last regular day of classes is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th

Any make-up days will be added to the end of the school year.
