


Decorah Police say a two-vehicle accident on Highway 9 at Old Stage Road on Wednesday afternoon caused no injuries, but $9,000 in damages.
49-year-old Kenda Franzen of Calmar attempted to make a left hand turn onto Old Stage Road from Highway 9. She told police she reached for her purse, became distracted and struck a stopped vehicle on Old Stage Road being driven by 32-year-old Michael Saboe of West Union.
Franzen was ticketed for Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle.
