Hensley named "Provider of the Year" by Winneshiek Medical Center

Winneshiek Medical Center's "Provider of the Year" is clinical psychologist Bridgette Hensley.

Dr. Hensley has expertise in treating children, adolescents and adults with disorders such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral disturbances (ADHD). She also provides suicide assessment and prevention, family therapy, and couples therapy.
 
Dr. Hensley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. She earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She joined Winneshiek Medical Center Decorah Clinic in 2013.

WMC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Flinchbaugh noted, "Dr. Hensley is committed to excellence and improved health outcomes, and led efforts to implement an evidence-based screening and assessment instrument for WMC to help identify and prevent someone from taking their life by suicide."
