Car/deer accident causes $8,000 in damages

Decorah Police were called to Highway 52 around 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

67-year-old Ray Flatland from Copperopolis, California was southbound on the road when a deer entered the roadway. Flatland hit the deer, causing $8,000 in damages to his car. He was not injured.
