It was an expensive traffic accident Wednesday for a Stacyville resident.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Karl Horst lost control of his 2000 International Semi while driving westbound on County Road V64 around 5:00 p.m. The semi fell off onto the soft shoulder, entered the ditch and rolled onto its side.
Horst was not injured--no ambulance was needed--but the accident did an estimated $50,000 in damages.
