Winneshiek Medical Center wins three awards

Winneshiek Medical Center has been recognized by two different organizations which track performance in the medical industry.

iVantage has given its "Performance Leadership Award"--a national award--to Winneshiek Medical Center.  The awards are announced every November.

Meanwhile, WMC has also won two "Women's Choice" awards--one for its obstetrics program and another for women's care.  Awarded hospitals ranked above the national average for patient recommendations, as indicated by the data reported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys.
