Two men arrested in separate incidents

On Sunday at 12:39 a.m. the Decorah Police Department was conducting an investigation in the parking lot of Kwik Star on Short Street. During the investigation, 37-year-old Abdi Mohamed Abib of Postville was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle while Impaired and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On Tuesday at 4:09 a.m. Decorah Police Officers were called to Winneshiek Medical Center's ER to remove 22-year-old Tyler Pollock of Decorah for causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the premises. Pollock was subsequently arrested and charge with Public Intoxication.
