


The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports two drivers were involved in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday at 2:38 p.m.
70-year-old Donald Ferrie of Cresco was eastbound on Pole Line Road pulling a grain cart with a John Deere tractor. 36-year-old Benjamen Cotton of Cresco was following behind in a 2014 Ford Escape and didn't see Ferrie signaling a left hand turn into a field driveway as he was attempting to pass the tractor. Cotton collided with the front end of the tractor Ferrie was driving causing $19,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.
