Motor vehicle accident causes $12,000 in damages

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports 26-year-old Bret Tangen of Calmar was southbound on Middle Calmar Road at 11:27 a.m. Sunday when he and lost control of his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, resulting in $12,000 in damages. No ambulance transport was needed.
