


Two Decorah Middle School teams won one round decisively and lost two rounds in close scoring at the recent State Mock Trial competition in Des Moines.
Bekah Pedlar was honored with a medal as Outstanding Witness. To earn this award, a student must be nominated by both judges as their top choice in a single round.
Many Decorah participants were nominated for outstanding honors, some by numerous judges. Nominated as Outstanding Attorney were Rebecca Anderson, Kaeley Downing, Landan Folkedahl, Karen Henriquez, Allison Pavlovec, and Ethan Stravers. Nominated as Outstanding Witness were Casey Brickley, Landan Folkedahl, Mikiah Krieg, Ethan Stravers, and Paige Werner.
