


Ten more Decorah area veterans have received Quilts of Valor.
The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides quilts to service members and veterans touched by war. The area chapter can be contacted by calling Joni Johnson at (563) 382-9266.
The latest quilts presented to the ten veterans were provided through a grant from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.
Recipients of the quilts were Russell Curtis, Merlyn Gossman, Carroll Gossman, David Whalen, Roger Espe, Donald Nesteby, Terry Scheidel, Conrad Hoffsommer, Jim Cutsforth Junior and Leon Bullerman.
