Josey Jewell nominated for a "Senior Class Award"

The recognitions keep coming in for Decorah native Josey Jewell, a member of the University of Iowa football team.

Jewell is one of ten NCAA® football student-athletes nominated for a "Senior Class Award," which is awarded by Premier Sports Management—not the NCAA.

Jewell and nine others were selected for their accomplishments both on and off the field, in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition.

Nationwide fan voting is underway at http://www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/  and runs through December 4th. Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I head coaches' votes to determine the winner.
