


36-year-old Melissa Foley of Calmar was driving a 2013 GMC Yukon on October 28th at 3:12 a.m., eastbound on County Road B16, when she lost control and veered into the north ditch where she hit a culvert.
Foley had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Calmar Fire Department and was then transported by the Decorah ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center.
There was $25,000 in damages to the Yukon.
This accident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
