


The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports responding to two motor vehicle accidents resulting in citations.
19-year-old Dylan Magic was driving on Pole Line Road at 12:14 p.m. September 28th when he lost control and rolled his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am causing $3,200 in damages. Magic was cited for failure to maintain control. No injuries were reported.
16-year-old Nathaniel Cowie of Decorah was pulling out of an ally onto Main Street at 8:47 p.m. Saturday when his 2011 Chevrolet Impala struck the side of Decorah Police Officer Casey Smith's 2015 Ford Squad Car causing $3,500 in damages. The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was called to investigate since it involved a city owned vehicle. Cowie was cited for failure to yield. No injuries were reported.
