24-year-old Cole Breitsprecher of Ossian has now joined his brother, Kaleb, in entering "guilty" pleas to federal charges filed against the two men as a result of a lengthy multi-agency investigation this summer involving local, state, and federal agencies.
Cole Breitsprecher was indicted on charges of distribution of a controlled substance – heroin and fentanyl and possession of firearms by a drug user. The indictment alleged Cole distributed fentanyl to another person. He was also charged with being an unlawful drug user in possession of multiple firearms.
Cole has now filed a guilty plea in US District Court for Northern Iowa to one count of distributing heroin and one count of possession of firearms by a drug user.
