"Financing of Caregiving" class will be offered through the Winneshiek County Extension Office

The Winneshiek County Extension Office has begun accepting registrations for a "Finances of Caregiving" series of classes to be held in Decorah late this fall.

The class is aimed at encouraging people to involve all members of their family in financial decisions and to develop a plan that works well for both care receivers and caregivers.  Topics to be discussed will include why it is essential to plan, retirement plans for the caregiver, paying for care options and effective communication.

The "Finances of Caregiving" five-week series will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 5th, 12th and 26th and November 2nd and 9th at the Extension office in Decorah.  Registration fee is $35.
