


The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says their deputies responded to two traffic accidents on Thursday.
Around 12:15 p.m. on South Mill Street south of Decorah 75-year-old Constance Strom of Lisbon, Iowa was headed southbound and collided with a legally parked vehicle. The accident did $4,000 in damages. Strom was ticketed for striking an unattended vehicle. No ambulance transport was needed.
Around 7:15 p.m. on Locust Road north of Decorah 34-year-old Jeremy Snell of Decorah lost control of his vehicle while entering a corner and went into the ditch, striking a driveway. The accident did $4,500 in damages. No injuries were reported. Snell was ticketed for failure to maintain control.
