Calmar man arrested on criminal charges

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says deputies have arrested 30-year-old William Mack of Calmar on two charges stemming from what is being described as a break-in and assault.

Deputies took Mack into custody around 8:00 Thursday night.  He is accused of breaking into a home and assaulting a woman.

Mack has been charged with Felony Burglary and Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd Offense.  He's being held in the Winneshiek County Jail.
