Winneshiek County Courthouse will get a facelift

The Winneshiek County  Board has approved a contract for $93,080 with Karr Tuckpointing to do a variety of cleaning tasks involving the Courthouse and Courthouse Annex.

The company will replace defective bricks on the chimney near the Annex.  It will also do some caulking on the two buildings, as well as some tuckpointing.

The most noticeable change will probably be the power washing of both buildings.  The work by Karr Tuckpointing is expected to give a newer look to the buildings and to resolve some of the recent issues with the building.
