Chamber of Commerce's Ag Committee names two as "Friends in Agriculture."

DACC Ag Committee Chairperson Jess Rediske, U-2 BBQ & Catering representative Doug Holler, Iowa State Extension Agronomist Brian Lang and DACC staff member Tyler Rinken.

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce's Agriculture Committee is recognizing two "Friends in Agriculture."

Iowa State Extension Ag Economist Brian Lang is being given the individual award, while U2 BBQ & Catering is receiving the business award.

Lang is based out of the Decorah office of ISU Extension.  He has worked for ISU Extension since 1989.  He has a master's degree in agronomy from the University of Wisconsin.

U2 Barbeque is a Calmar company that provides catering for groups of all sizes.  It specializes in pork dishes, but also prepares beef, chicken and a variety of other main dishes.
