Helping Services for Youth and Families' mentoring program is looking for volunteers to take part in a fundraising bowlathon next month in Decorah.
The Sunday, March 19th, event at Oneota Lanes in Decorah has a goal of raising $10,000 in donations for the mentoring program, which connects local volunteers with a youth who needs a trusted role model.
Form a team of four members or sign up to bowl individually and Helping Services will pair you with others. Bowling times are 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. on March 19th.
Registration is now open at https://www.helpingservices.org/events/youth-mentoring-hero-bowl/. After registering, bowlers are asked to seek donations of $50 or more to support the mission of Youth Mentoring. Donations can be collected in person and online.
