Decorah FFA members receive degrees

Chapter FFA recipients

Eleven first-year members of the Decorah FFA have been awarded the "Greenhand FFA Degree," while 15 second-year members have received the "Chapter FFA Degree."

The Greenhand FFA Degree is given to the chapter's first year members who have have satisfactory plans for programs of supervised agricultural experience and are able to recite the FFA Creed.  Decorah FFA members who received the Greenhand FFA Degree include Katie Bjergum, Jared Carolan, Brooke Courtney, Keagen Einck, Jenna Frana, Arielle Gossman, David Johanningmeier, Caleb Keck, Elijah Mitchell, Parker Monroe, and Libby Rolfs.

The Chapter FFA Degree is given to the chapter's second year members who have previously received the Greenhand FFA Degree, completed 180 hours of agricultural education, have participated in at least three official chapter functions, earned and productively invested $150 or worked at least forty-five hours on a supervised agricultural experience, led a group discussion for fifteen minutes, demonstrated five procedures of parliamentary law, participated in at least ten hours of community service activities, and have a satisfactory scholastic record.

Members who received the Chapter Degree include Austin Bulman, Braeley Ehrie, Justin Fretheim, Austin Hill, Lily Hovey, Tanner Knutson, Andy Lillegraven, Brendan Lovstuen, Devin Ludeking, Maillie McCabe, Bailey Miculinich, Daniel Schwartzhoff, Stacia Sexton, Mason Stortz, Julianna Wise.

Greenhand FFA Degree recipients
