Each year, Luther College Women's Club reaches out to international students in an attempt to welcome them into the Luther and Decorah communities. This year is no exception.
The "Warm Winter Wraps" project recognizes that many of the students who arrive from warmer climates, both foreign and in the U.S. are ill prepared for the frigid winters they may encounter in Northeast Iowa. Thus LCWC is initiating an outerwear collection of winter coats, hats, gloves to be distributed, as needed, to wrap these students in warmth.
New and gently used winter wear can be brought to the Center For Faith and Life on the Luther Campus on Tuesday, or dropped off at the Diversity Center in the Centennial Union any time from now until mid December.
