


Freedom Rock artist Bubba Sorensen is in Calmar painting the Freedom Rock for Winneshiek County.
The Freedom Rock Tour was created by Ray "Bubba" Sorensen II. It aims to boost tourism and spread the message of thanking our Veterans. Upon completion, the Freedom Rock Tour will provide a unique to the area Freedom Rock for all 99 counties in the state of Iowa.
The goal is to make the Winneshiek County Freedom Rock a tribute to all branches of the military, firefighters, emergency medical providers and law enforcement personnel.
Sorensen will tour the state for the next few summers completing the project. The Freedom Rock project for Winneshiek County is nearing completion.
