


Winneshiek Medical Center is reporting that its total net operating revenues for September were $4.7 million. That was higher than last September's figure, but was 6 percent lower than this fiscal year's budget. At the end of the first quarter (July through September), net operating revenues at Winneshiek Medical were $14 million—7 percent under budget and 3 percent less than the first quarter of fiscal year 2016.
September's operating expenses totaled $4.7 million, which were 3 percent better than budgeted. Compared to last year at this time, operating expenses have increased 2.3 percent while net revenues have decreased 3 percent.
Year-to-date the hospital has shown a net gain of $327,262, which includes non-operating revenues of $363,292.
