Eight Decorah HS musicians have been selected for All-State

Eight Decorah HS musicians have been selected for All-State, based on their performances at auditions on Saturday.
A total of 42 Decorah High School musicians participated in the Iowa All-State Music auditions. Violinist Carina Yee was selected for the All-State Orchestra; bass trombonist Solomon Thompson was selected for the All-State Band; and
soprano Indigo Fish, altos Helen Johnson and Abby Trewin, tenor Finn Deen-Lester and basses Everett Wegge and Richard Weis were selected for the All-State Choirs.
