A Decorah man has been arrested in Phoenix, Arizona and has been extradited back to Decorah to face trial on three criminal charges.
36-year-old William Troxel was arrested in Maricopa County on three Winneshiek County warrants. The warrants stem from charges filed in February in connection with a burglary in Highlandville--3rd Degree Burglary, 3rd or Subsequent Possession of Meth and 3rd or Subsequent Possession of Marijuana. All three charges are Class D Felonies.
Troxel has been returned to the Winneshiek County Jail, where he is being held on a $25,000 bond.
