Additional information about reported sexual assault

Police continue to investigate a report of a sexual assault in West Decorah early in the morning of Sunday, September 11th.

A Luther College student told police she was groped on College Drive around 12:30 a.m. as she was walking from downtown Decorah to the Luther College campus.  No injuries were reported in the incident.

The woman says three men were involved--all of them taller than the female Luther student.  All three have been described as having a light complexion. One male was described as being tall and of medium to heavier build, while the other two were described as average height.

The woman says she slapped the taller male in order to get away from him and may have scratched him in the face in the process.
