15 members of Norwegian Parliament visited Decorah on Tuesday, stopping at Vesterheim Museum and at Luther College.
But the group seemed to especially enjoy their afternoon activity--visiting the headquarters of the Winneshiek County Democratic Party and the headquarters of the Winneshiek County Republican Party.
As Norwegian legislator Eirin Sund explained to decorahnews.com, "We are politicians--what's happening in the United States is very important to Norway."
The Norwegians took photos of themselves standing next to a cardboard cutout of Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, while they looked at posters and flyers of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump at the local GOP office.
