Ask Mr. Answer Person: "What happened to the lights on the Trout Run Trail Bridges?"

Jim e-mails: "I recently came home to attend a decorah football game in the dark and noticed the new bike trail bridge on highway 52 was not lit up with lights, I noticed this also a few days ago but thought maybe I was too early...so my question is what time do the lights come on?"

Mr. Answer Person says: "The lights on the bridge are controlled by a computer at Decorah City Hall.  Decorah City Administrator Chad Bird says, "Lights come on around 7:30 p.m., but this is a funny time of year with the sun setting earlier and earlier.  I will check them out to be sure."
