Ask Mr. Answer Person: Why do decorahnews.com photos stay the same size when you click on them?

Brett e-mails: "Why are the pictures on decorahnews.com the same size when you click on them?  I expect them to be enlarged, but they never are any bigger than the original.  For example, the picture of the "Kinnick Stadium-style house" is exactly the same size when you click on it. Why bother?"

Mr. Answer Person says: "The "Click to enlarge" message applies to any story in which there are two or more photos.  The photo above a story usually (but not always) is posted in a wide enough format that there's no difference when you click on that photo, but the bottom photos (up to four) are always shrunk so they fit the news story format.  This is especially the case in sports stories, but also in news stories.

So click as much as you want--so long as they're the photos posted below the story.
