No new City/County IT Director yet

The City of Decorah and Winneshiek County are still without an Information Technology Director--but that might change next week.

The position has been vacant since late June.  Advertisements for the opening brought just two applications, but a special joint city/county committee which reviewed the two candidates says they would like to bring one of them back for a second interview this week.  The interview would include a tour of Decorah City Hall and the Winneshiek County Courthouse and the computer systems in both locations.
