Clean-up from Thursday evening's storm appears to be going well

The City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site on Trout Run Road will remain open for people to drop off tree limbs and other yard waste in the wake of Thursday evening's strong storm that carried winds over 60 miles an hour.

Residents are ask to please pile tree brush, limbs and debris on the boulevard in front of their homes--NOT in the street.  City crews on Monday will begin to chip limbs and branches as necessary.

City officials are asking the public to be patient, as it may take some time for crews to reach you and your property.
