A Decorah firm has submitted a bid of $75,000 to build a new stone bridge in Dunning's Springs Park.
Quandahl Construction was the only bidder on the project Wednesday. Plans call for the construction of a stone arch bridge slightly upriver from the current wooden bridge.
The estimated cost of the project had been $65,000, so Decorah City Council members will have to determine next Tuesday whether they want to accept or reject the bid.
The project will be paid for by using a private donation and Park-Rec funds.
