Former Allamakee County resident arrested by Winneshiek County authorities on charges of violating his Iowa Sexual Predator Registry rules

24-year-old Stephen Dahlstrom, formerly of Allamakee County, has been arrested by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies on a warrant of violating the Iowa Sex Offender Registry.

Winneshiek County deputies picked up Dahlstrom Wednesday in Sioux City, where he had been in the Woodbury County Jail.  Dahlstrom is now in custody in the Winneshiek County Jail.

Dahlstrom was originally arrested in 2009 in Allamakee County and accused of six counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse for contacts he had with two girls and one boy under the age of 14.  Later in 2009 he was charged with three counts of performing lascivious acts.
