Ribbon cutting held for new sports store in Decorah

Sports World has been in business in Prairie Du Chien since 1979.

The company sells athletic and casual footwear and clothing as well as uniforms, team gear, sporting equipment, custom-made apparel, embroidery, screen-printing and dye sublimation.

Sports World Vice President Todd Yeomans says his company has always wanted to expand into Decorah.  This week that achievement was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Sports World's new store on Water Street in downtown Decorah.

Yeomans says he appreciates the warm welcome given to the new store by the people of Decorah.
