County/City IT Director has resigned

Winneshiek County's IT Director, "Chopper" Albert, has resigned.  Albert also served as the City of Decorah's IT Director under a sharing agreement.

In a letter submitted to the Board of Supervisors on Monday, Albert said he was resigning because "my value has not been appreciated."  He said "it saddens me tremendously" to be quitting.

Albert's last day of work will be Friday, July 1st.
