Winneshiek County Fair now has a disaster plan

Members of the Winneshiek County Agricultural Association met Monday night with County Emergency Management Director Sean Snyder to officially sign the first-ever disaster preparedness plan for the fair.

Snyder says the plan covers severe weather, kidnappings, active shooters and other emergencies.  "Hopefully, we'll never have to use it," he says.
