It's official--North Winneshiek will merge with Decorah in 2019-2020

The North Winneshiek School Board on Monday night formally approved the previously-announced timelines for eventually closing the school.

For the 2016-2017 school year starting this fall North Winneshiek will remain a preschool through 8th grade school.  For the next two schools years, North Winneshiek will operate as a preschool through 6th grade school.

For the 2019-2020 school year North Winneshiek will consolidate with the Decorah School District, with students attending school in Decorah.
