The Decorah Community School Board has approved the master contract with the Decorah Education Association (DEA) for 2016-17. The tentative agreement had been reached last month and has already been approved by the DEA.
The contract calls for a total package increase of 3.26 percent increase, or total of $293,878. Superintendent Mike Haluska noted that this was below the state average increase.
The base salary increases by $294 to $28,953.
