There's a good chance that the three eggs at the Decorah bald eagle nest will hatch this week.
A viewer of the Raptor Resource Project's video feed (http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles) has posted a photo of what appears to be a crack starting in the first egg.
Raptor Resource Project says once the first egg hatches, volunteers will begin a daily online chat from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Central Time, seven days a week, and an educational chat from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The first eagle egg was laid February 18th, the second on February 21st and the third on February 25th. Eagle eggs have a 35 to 39 day incubation period
