


Decorah Police have released details of a three-vehicle accident on Mechanic Street Wednesday afternoon around 3:00.
Police say 29-year-old Jenna Schnitzler of Decorah was westbound on Pearl Street and pulled out into the intersection with Mechanic Street to make a left turn. Her SUV was hit by a van driven by 60-year-old David Phillips of Calmar. Phillips' van was then pushed into the front of a school bus driven by 44-year-old Joseph Baldridge of Decorah, who had stopped to make a left turn onto Pearl Street.
Phillips suffered minor injuries in the crash. The crash did a total of $14,000 in damages.
Schnitzler was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right-of-Way.
